While we read a variety of assigned selections, my ultimate goal is to foster readers in all of my students, and the only way to do that is to allow for choice in your reading. Hence, this project. I am convinced there is a reader inside of each and every one of you; all you have to do is find what you enjoy reading. That might be adventure books that put you in the middle of the wilderness fighting for your survival or in a fastastical world where one cannot tell the difference between a human or angel or even in the midst of a teenager going through similar problems as you. You will be provided time weekly to read in class from your book (as long as you don't abuse this) as well as several days to either read or work on your project in class. If you use your class time wisely, pay attention to the important dates mentioned above, and avoid waiting until the last minute, everyone should excel with this project. HAPPY READING!!
